Support - Copper

System Requirements

Copper Data and Copper Receiver:
CPU: Minimum Pentium 4 Intel processor (newer Celerons and PentiumM are also acceptable)
Memory: 512MB
Operating System: Windows XP or Windows Server 2003

Copper Media Software:
CPU: Minimum Pentium 4 Intel processor (newer Celerons and PentiumM are also acceptable)
Memory: 512MB
Operating System: Windows XP or Windows Server 2003
Graphics Display card: VGA card supporting Direct Show with
      Minimum: 32MB RAM or higher; Minimum: 1024 x 768 resolution

Copper Media with Digital Rapids Hardware:
Please see the DRC Hardware System Requirements page for system requirements for systems with Digital Rapids hardware.


License for Copper Receiver

If you have Stream 2.0 or 2.1 you can run the Copper Receiver at 2 Mbps with your existing license. If you need a higher bit rate, or if you do not own Stream 2, please contact your Digital Rapids dealer.

License for Copper

Please contact your Digital Rapids Dealer for information about Copper Transmitter and Receiver licenses.


Copper Media Installation Notes

The installer will ask you if you want to install Windows Media 9.0 or 9.5. Windows Media 9.5 will only work on a Windows XP operating system.


NOTE: The Transmitter and Receiver must use the same version number. Copper 1.0 and Copper 1.2 will not work together.
