System Requirements

Digital Rapids Stream hardware runs on a PC with a 32-bit Microsoft Windows operating system. Windows XP users must be using Service Pack 3 or higher.

The minimum CPU is an Intel Pentium 4 processor, with the recommended CPU a quad-core at 2.4 GHz or higher.

Note: The number of streams that you can encode in real time (and their resolution/bit rate) is dependant on the speed of your CPU.

An IEEE-1394 port on the host system motherboard or OHCI-compliant IEEE-1394 add-on card in the host system is required for DV input with the DRC-1600 and DRC-2600.

License for Stream 3.3

Upgrading to Stream 3 from Stream 2.5 is a paid upgrade which requires a new license key. If you purchased Stream 2.5 in 2009 you are eligible for a free upgrade. Please contact register@digital-rapids.com for your new, updated key.

Purchase of Stream 3 includes one year of software maintenance. Software maintenance includes free “point upgrades” (e.g., upgrade from 3.0 to 3.2) and basic support (basic support includes phone support during regular business hours and email support).

Stream 2.x is no longer supported (as of January 1, 2010).
