London: One of London’s leading facilities in DVD encoding and Video on Demand (VOD), theGarden — the new media division of International Broadcast Facilities — is using two Digital Rapids StreamZHD encoding servers to deliver high-quality encoded media to their customers.
One of theGarden’s major customers is United International Pictures (UIP). Following an initial requirement to encode each of 100 titles with up to four different languages in just two weeks, theGarden currently provides encoding for up to 10,000 minutes of features per month. By encoding in real time, the StreamZHD encoders dramatically increase the speed and quality of the encoding process.
Specialists in VOD, theGarden supplies the hotel industry worldwide with MPEG1, MPEG2 and WM9 program and transport streams of the latest box office hits and trailers.
