Digital Rapids to Unveil New Solutions and Educate Attendees at IBC 2010
Efficient B2B Content Delivery
New enhancements to the MediaMesh content delivery system will be highlighted, including expanded output format support, multi-clip playlisting and extended capabilities in the portal-based MediaMesh Web Submitter. Built on the robust Digital Rapids C2 delivery framework, MediaMesh enables content ranging from ad spots to long-form programming to be transferred between content providers, contributors, aggregators and distribution partners efficiently, automatically and at substantial cost savings using terrestrial IP networks or satellite multicast. MediaMesh RX receiving appliances provide powerful functionality at the endpoints of the distribution chain, including integrated inventory management, review, transcoding, re-packaging and playout for seamless conforming to recipient requirements.
Encoding and Transcoding for File-Based Workflows
A new version of the software for our versatile StreamZHD multi-format encoding system will be introduced, building on StreamZHD's industry-leading feature set with further extensions to its robust output, automation and workflow integration capabilities. StreamZHD provides unparalleled-quality capture and encoding to multiple simultaneous output formats from live and tape-based sources, providing the ideal gateway to file-based production, distribution and archive workflows. Also featuring the live streaming capabilities of our StreamZ Live encoders, StreamZHD provides unmatched flexibility, format support, efficiency and automation for applications from post production to multi-platform live and on-demand distribution.
A new version of the enterprise-class Digital Rapids Transcode Manager distributed media transcoding software will also be unveiled. New features include automated 'commercial black' removal and a new user interface style. Transcode Manager provides efficient management, automation and exceptional performance for top-quality media transformation between acquisition, production, archive and distribution formats.
