New Products
Broadcast Manager — enterprise management and control application for multiple live streaming encoders. Broadcast Manager simplifies operation with automatic system setup through discovery and centralized administration and reporting, while bolstering reliability with multiple-mode failover management.
Transcode Manager — enterprise management and load balancing solution for media transcoding. Working in conjunction with the forthcoming XCoder standalone software transcoding application, Transcode Manager features automated job management and failover support.
Stream VOD Packager — packages media files with metadata structures compatible with the CableLabs® VOD Metadata Specification for loading onto a Video on Demand (VOD) server.
New Software Versions
Stream 2.2 — professional encoding with simultaneous output to multiple formats. New features include video processing plug-ins that can be used during live ingest or transcoding; additional Closed Caption options; clip trimming prior to encoding; enhanced MPEG muxing; support for CableLabs VOD files; and MPEG2 unicast and multicast live streaming.
