Deluxe Outstanding Technical Achievement Award

Digital Rapids has been honoured as the recipient of the 2012 Deluxe Outstanding Technical Achievement Award. The award recognizes Digital Rapids' technical innovation in developing solutions and technology that further the ability of content creators and owners to effectively engage their audience. The award was presented during a special luncheon during the Banff World Media Festival.
Streaming Media Readers' Choice Awards

The 2011 Streaming Media Readers' Choice Awards presented Digital Rapids’ StreamZ Live ABR adaptive streaming encoder with the award in the Over-the-Top (OTT) Video Solution Category. The awards recognized StreamZ Live ABR as the leading streaming and online video solution as judged by end users, rather than the magazine staff.

Version 2.0 of our Digital Rapids Transcode Manager high-volume, automated media processing software received a 2011 STAR (Superior Technology Award Recipient) Award, given by the editorial staff of TV Technology Europe magazine at the 2011 IBC Conference and Exhibition. The STAR Award is designed to celebrate and showcase the preeminent technological innovations available to the broadcast industry. TV Technology Europe's editor reviewed a variety of products, examined the technical applications and their overall contribution to the industry, and then chose the winners.

Our Digital Rapids Transcode Manager 2.0 high-volume, automated media processing software won a TVBEurope "Best of IBC2011" Editors' Award. The "Best of IBC2011" Editors' Awards are chosen by the combined editorial teams behind TVBEurope magazine and the official show publication, The IBC Daily. The publications' editors and writers searched IBC for the smartest and most game-changing new products being launched into the European market at the show.

 FOUR - 2010 Streaming Media Readers' Choice Awards

Four of our solutions were honored with 2010 Streaming Media Readers' Choice Awards as the top products in their categories -- the first time that any company has won four such awards in the same year. Our StreamZHD live and on-demand encoding system was voted as the best high definition (HD) hardware encoder, while our standard-definition StreamZ was named best SD hardware encoder. The Digital Rapids Transcode Manager enterprise-class, automated transcoding software won in the 'Encoding Software over $1000' category, and TouchStream was recognized as the top portable live encoding appliance. The Readers' Choice Awards are held annually by Streaming Media magazine and recognize the leading streaming and online video solutions, services, companies and innovations as judged by end users, rather than the magazine staff.

Our StreamZHD Live ABR adaptive streaming encoder was honored with the CSI Award for 'Best Web TV Technology or Service for 2010. The CSI Awards are regarded as one of the most competitive and comprehensive technology awards, rewarding excellence in the cable, satellite, terrestrial broadcasting and IPTV sectors. Organized by CSI magazine (formerly known as Cable & Satellite International), the awards are judged independently of CSI by a panel of experts that includes practicing and former heads of engineering and operations from some of the world's most important network operators; well-respected consultants; and senior industry analysts.

 Vidy Award (Best of Show) - NAB 2009

Our TouchStream live video streaming appliance won a Best of Show Vidy Award from Videography magazine at the 2009 NAB Show. The Best of Show Vidy Awards recognize outstanding achievement in the advancement of the art and science of video technology. A select panel of engineers, editors and production and post professionals joined the magazine staff to judge the Best of Show awards for Videography, which is published by NewBay Media. The Videography Vidy Awards is the longest-running NAB awards program.
Broadcast India 'Most Innovative Product' Award

The annual Broadcast India exhibition and conference welcomes over 22,000 visitors from India and abroad. Digital Rapids received a prestigious IBC2008 Innovation Award for our contribution to the MICAH multi-format, digital media production workflow at leading global media and entertainment company NBC Universal. The award win in the Content Management category is shared between NBC Universal, Digital Rapids and a fellow technology supplier. The IBC Innovation Awards, presented at the annual IBC Conference and Exhibition in Amsterdam, celebrate the partnership between technology companies and users, with winners having demonstrated innovative and cost-effective solutions to technical, commercial or creative challenges. The Broadcast Engineering Pick Hit awards are the industry's longest-running new product technology awards, with a 24-year history. The judges are professionals in the broadcast, post and network and satellite industries who remain anonymous throughout the judging process to protect the integrity of the awards. Winning products are judged to have a positive impact on the intended user's everyday work, and to offer substantial improvement over previous technology at a price within the reach of the intended users.
